Oh, yep. We went there. A topic we love (as women) to hate…or maybe just not talk about it out loud, and SQUEEZE into those jeans pretending there’s “nothing” spilling over the edge! π YES! We’ve been there, done that…and every day it’s a battle of restraint, endurance, and plain old self-control! π
Our bodies go through this massive change during pregnancy. Yes, we think it’s cute to take those pregnancy pictures while our bellies grow…yes, we may even post them publicly on-line for the whole world to see. And then we give birth. Do you notice the lack of pictures of nude bellies AFTER giving birth?? WE KNOW!! π See, you know what we mean!
(As a disclaimer, I took one last picture the weekend before giving birth to The Kid, and it just wasn’t pretty in the slightest! It might have been my gigantic ankles, the crazy roundness, or the Dove ice cream bar dripping down my shirt onto my belly. Yep, amazingly beautiful!! LOL!)
So, how do we fight the poundage that remains on our bodies as the aftermath of pregnancy? Do we fight in the first place? And when we reach the “end of our rope” in regards to our weight, what on earth do we do?
