Well, this pretty much goes without saying if you’ve watched Erin and I consistently over the past 6 months, but let me just give you a heads-up if you haven’t. WE LOVE BOUNDARIES! What? Fences? State lines? Border check points? Ahh, so glad you asked for clarification, because we would love to share with you the key to all happiness (well, maybe not the key to ALL happiness, but a pretty significant piece of the puzzle).
We received a viewer question that asked what we would do if our in-laws insisted on bringing younger siblings to the hospital, even though the request for them NOT to come had already been expressed. (And yes, some people are just hard-headed!!) We love the question, because we totally get it!
Both Erin and I tend to be people-pleasers, but in our journeys as women but also as moms, we have discovered that you can’t please everyone! And when you get married, and begin a family with children, the whole people-pleasing thing goes out the window. Or, at least, it should. Ahem.
So, watch Erin and I passionately affirm our viewer, as she tries to hold tight to her boundaries with her in-laws. We are totally behind you and will cheer you on all the way to the finish line!
