The Great Infant Diaper Debate: To Cloth or Dispose, That is the Question

You know you’re pregnant or have an infant/toddler when all of a sudden you want to hold a Geneva Summit (you do remember what that is, right?? Yeah! We haven’t lost all intellect!!) to discuss how on earth you’re going to collect your little one’s waste! Just wait: spit up, breast milk, and bleeding is just around the corner in your conversation! Welcome to mommy-hood, where nothing is off-limits to discuss!

To use cloth diapers, to use disposable? That is the burning question.

Erin and Jeff sat down one day and wanted to approach the question from a logical standpoint: financially! Why wouldn’t you when expecting twins? And when they did the math and discovered that after three years of disposable diapering twins they would have “flushed” a good $8,000 down the “drain” (or just shipped to the landfills), the choice was very clear to both of them.

They’d rather take a vacation…a really good vacation like at an all-inclusive resort with childcare, never-ending food and drinks, and all the excursions imaginable, than diaper their twins with disposable.

So, join Rebecca and Erin as they give some thoughts on diapering. But please ladies, no judging, because I, Rebecca, used disposable all the way through both kids! 😉 We all do what is best for our families and we’re cool with that! Promise!
