Okay, let’s give kudos where we began: as intelligent, decisive, capable women who could remember every necessary detail even from some obscure day in 2003. Sometimes we need to be reminded that we used to rule the world at one point, to keep ourselves from turning into one emotional puddle on the floor chanting over and over, “What happened to me? Where have I gone?”
Do we wander aimlessly (though we DID have an aim 30 seconds ago) from room to room not being able to remember what we were trying to do? Yep. Can we remember where we placed things, even though we put them in the same place every time? Nope. Do others around us notice the difference? Yep. And if they want to continue in our good-graces, do they say anything? Nope! (Please read into the sarcasm!)
What happened? You got pregnant and nobody told you your little one needed your brain cells too!
